The Anthony Brown water powered car is just the latest example of how inventors are working on water power, such as hydrogen gas that is created from water, as an alternate fuel for cars. An increasing number of inventors have come up with cars that run strictly on water, although they have yet to be marketed to the general public. The need for alternative fuel, however, is something that most people agree is apparent, especially with the rising cost of oil. The Anthony Brown water powered car was manufactured in 2008 and uses a little bit of gas to run. Brown found a way to shut down the fuel injection system and separate water oxygen from hydrogen to get the Anthony Brown water powered car to run, getting 100 miles on one ounce of water and a little bit of gas.
